Al Ahlia Environmental Services

A joint venture between Khimji Ramdas and Ramky Enviro Engineers (India), Al Ahlia Environmental Services were the first company in Oman to construct and manage a hazardous waste storage facility – near Liwa under the patronage of Muscat Municipality/Be’ah. The company also built the second hazardous storage facility at Duqm for Oman Dry Dock. Following this the company was awarded the contract to design and build an Industrial Waste Handling and Treatment Facility in Sohar – also a first in Oman.

In a JV with Imdaad of UAE, the company has won the contract to provide operation and waste management of municipal waste for the North Al Batinah region and Musandam Governorate.

In another JV with Nature Group (Netherlands) the Oman Maritime Waste treatment SOAC was created for the waste discharge facility at Sohar Port. This will see the creation of a Marpol compliant facility for managing solid and liquid waste disposal from ships coming to the port.
